was appointed April 2006 and has been
serving the community by ensuring fast
and effective fire and life safety service. 

Message From the Fire Chief

I am pleased to welcome you to the Monrovia Fire Department’s website.  It is a privilege to serve as the Fire Chief for the City of Monrovia and I am honored to work with the community to contribute to their safety.

Monrovia is a full-service fire and life safety organization.  We provide Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Prevention, Public Education, Hazardous Materials Response, Equipment Maintenance, Firefighter Training and Disaster Preparedness.

The Monrovia Fire Department follows the slogan helping anyone in need.  A diverse department with 43 full time positions, the department places a high value in maintaining exceptional fire and life safety service and continually seeks innovation and improvement in our commitment to the community.
