SUMMER READING CLUB

Join our 2009 Summer Reading Club! This program is designed to encourage children and teens to read either independently or with an adult. The program began on Monday, June 15 and continues throughout the summer during our regular library hours. Monday through Wednesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday, noon to 5:00 p.m. Participants can sign up for the reading club at home or in the library by going or by clicking on your age group link below. Read each week and receive a wonderful set of prizes. Complete four weeks of our program this summer and receive a free book! Prizes have been generously donated by local merchants and various organizations. The last day of the program is Saturday, August 1. At the conclusion of the 2009 Summer Reading Club each participant will be invited to attend our Reading Club Awards Picnic on Thursday, August 6. More information about the library’s Summer Reading Club can be found in our new library building located at 321 South Myrtle Avenue in the City of Monrovia.
