The City of Monrovia is dedicated to serving the needs of existing and new businesses. There is no utility tax and City fees are 23% below the average of other San Gabriel Valley cities. Monrovia recognizes that "time is money" and strives to ease the local regulatory and processing system. A pioneer in "fast-tracking," the Monrovia Redevelopment Agency has assisted new development projects having a total value in excess of $500 million.
